Fired up the pool this afternoon and everything works like it should except when im set to filter i have a trickle coming out the waste port. Guessing spider gasket has gone bad. Can it be replaced on this model or do i need a new multiport?

Its a hayward sand filter. Didnt realize it wasnt on my sig. will get it and pump listed

Pool is almost full after a big rain last night. Anything wrong with running a long backwash instead of just wasting?

A 2” gas powered box store pump will do the job just fine. Put banjo camlock fittings on inlet and and outlet so that its easier to move and store your hoses plus they make caps to lock on and seal it up for storage. Dump the gas when youre done and should last a very long time if stored inside...
