We had the same problems, replaced with a Siemens breaker and haven’t had a problem since.

Frogs, toads, spiders and lately my pool is being invaded by millipedes. I have a frog log but for some reason they still end up in the skimmer, just not as many.

I would replace the filters, you never know if the previous owners used floc or clarifier, both will gum up the filters and it can’t be washed off. You can also try cleaning them with tsp and water in a large trash bin, leaving them to soak, then rinsing them well.

Thank you Allen. I guess I could also put a sump pump in the area to drain away the water? Or a trash pump, as I believe they can handle more junk that may get into it?

We had a lot of rain over the weekend and are expecting more this week. Along with the potential rains from Florence. My pool pump is in a low lying area right now as we have not completed the pool house where it will be moved to. Yesterday the rain water came up pretty close to the pump...
