    Hayward sight glass gasket replacement

    The gasket/o-ring for the sight glass has dried up, so the seal isn’t there. Would a hose washer work as a replacement? I’m trying to save myself a long trip to the pool store.

    I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my pump. It’s a Hayward Pro Series sand filter. I have it on a timer, and manually turned it on this morning.
