Temp is good to go now. Still working out to find the best pump schedule. Funny thing is the pool guy that is maintaining the pool for the first month after startup says that trouble free pool is the worst site and don’t listen to anyone there. HA! I think they just want to keep customers...

Has anyone experienced temperature sensor issues? The temp coming from the Pentair sensor (via ScreenLogic App) is about 8-9 degrees higher than the thermometer in the pool: 90 from Pentair vs 81/82 using a traditional pool thermometer. Temp is definitely not 90 so Pentair is wrong... Here is...

Too late for us to change the plumbing, but good advice.

Very minor leaks addressed so we are good. Irrigation is being don’t today then landscaping later this week! I am ready to have grass in the back yard once again for sure. What pump schedule do you all run?

Leak detection will be here on Thursday to check the entire pool inside and out... at least right now water is not filling the trench as much by the equipment.

Contract has drainage to edge of decking... that’s fine - I can dig a trench to connect to another drain pipe near the pool

Good question - the PB is going to finish this issue. Lots of checking behind I have learned with building a pool. I still like the PB even though there have been mistakes. Anytime something not right has been pointed out by me, they have fixed it pretty quick. Except the pebble main drain...

From the PB on the overflow drain... “Ok, I’ll need to do some more digging and find the end. I thought the idea of putting a valve on it came up after your pool. It might of been during your pool. So the decking crew said they have a builder that decided to put valves on the overflow lines...

And I found the overflow pipe covered in dirt about a foot down and plugged with mud

That exposed white pipe is from the deck drains and one downspout from the gutters on the house. I’m actually not sure where the overflow goes now that you mention it.

PB ordered leak detection company to come out and they will pressure test all pipes and inside the pool with dye. Hopefully not too long when they can come out.

The quote from the PB is “I just want to get all the ground water out of there”. Simply put - there was no wetness near the equipment until they started up the pool 10 days ago. I don’t see how or why this would be ground water when there has been no rain for about 2 weeks.

They are trying to say (hoping I think) it’s “ground water” - ummmm... wishful thinking there PB.

Open pipe is where they leave the deck drain and the landscaper runs it to the street...

Dry weather too so it is coming from the equipment somewhere

Ground is pretty muddy by the pool equipment - might have a leak underground. The PB said they will inspect that and the pool for any leaks and get them all addressed.

The PB said the kids can swim in the pool now and they plan on jumping in after softball at 9pm when it is 58 degrees outside! They don’t care about the temp, but I bet they will get out quick!

We went with blue surf and we are very happy with it. From what I understand as the pool cures and the water levels out that the color will change to more blue from the greenish tint. Seeing all the water in it finished is really cool. They will need to adjust the waterwall and waterfalls to...

Yes they did acid wash it before filling then cleaned up the yard and the decking. It looks very good.

The PB said that the wet spots are normal and to not be concerned. I am going to look at it again when the sun comes out to see what it looks like.

So since they never installed the drain with the pebble for a SECOND time, my choices were bust it out and replace then patch it and reapply the pebble to that area or take $2000 and keep the channel drain that’s there now. I’ll take the cash as I don’t want to end up with an obvious patch on...

And just realized they did not install the channel drain that had a pebble top! The entire assembly for the pebble top drain is still in the box! UGH!!! They installed the wrong drain AGAIN!!!

Any concerns with this? Not the haze, but the wet areas. I sent pics to the PB and waiting for him to call me back. I don’t want a leak if that’s what I see.
