    Also, during the initial build you could see areas that were darker, ie the gunite was showing through. I felt this was a problem but my builder assured me it was normal. For the record, white plaster should be white and opaque, and gunite should not be seen through a thin layer, right?

    Someone threw some cal hypo into the pool (gunite/white plaster/chlorine 29k gallons) and it ate away some plaster bad is this? I wasn’t planning on replastetring until next year. Does this change my timeline I am generally on top of my pool chemistries.
