I pressure tested the hose and it's good as well I blocked the intake a ndvgh e pump didn't lose prime. I also attached the hose directly to the return and again good. The minute I use the vac plate and basket I lose prime. I think there is a leak i n t hed skimmer what is the best way to find it.

Tried another hose and still seem to have the issue is it possible there is a leak on the return line and when there is the extra length with the vac hose is is acting up? I have tried pouring water into the skimmer while the hose and plate attached and that doesn't seem to help

It is a brand new hose guess I'll buy another one and see if that does it.

Hi I think I may be leaking water between the joints in the walls and I had a couple of questions 1- Can anyone tell if this are fiberglass or if not what can they be the bottom is concrete. 2- Would a leak through the joints cause the washout under the apron? Thanks

Went out and bought a new 2hp pump and as I was remove the old one thought I would double check in the impeller and sure enough ir was clogged with pine needles. Once I removed them and re-hooked up the pump all is good :party:

I added a new pool heater a distance from the pool equipment and now the pressure has dropped. The new heater is 20' away with 2 - 90 degree turns. I have a 1 hp pump now and am thinking I will have to increase it but to what?

Does anyone have +/-'s on the AquaPro heat pumps? There is one at Costco here for 2700 for the 112000 unit. It seems diffucult to find reviews on the different heat pumps.

We are located in Winnipeg, Canada and would like the pool to be around 80. We use a solar cover when it isn't in use and th epump go 24/7 although I have been looking into putting it on a timer.

We have a 16x38 IG pool and am trying to figure out what would be the best heat source for the money. After doing some research I believe a heat pump would work the best but have been having a hard time narrowing it down on a make and model. Could someone advise the +/- of different ones.
