Phosphates 1300... Leslie's guys dont think phosphates affect chlorine production, but were happy to sell me product to reduce or eliminate them. They did say thst everyone get high phosphates this time of year from pollen. We had so much rain this winter it is excessive. I'm slamming now too...

Thanks for all your replies.... i can't "see" chlorine production because if the chemistry is correct ( it is except maybe phosphates) it should be generating chlorine. Chlorine levels have been stable (slight downward drift) for 3 days. Yes, I like FC in the 6-8 range.... I'll have phosphates...

I had the TC installed in November of last year, and now i see no chlorine production. Jandy rep says if phosphates are high it wont produce? We had lots and lots of rain this winter so I had to drain pool often, but i added back salt (as well as other chemicals). Current levels: Salt 3000...

this seems to be an ongoing problem for me.... over the years I've upgraded pump, boards, disconnected the spa-side and inside controllers, and despite running great for 6 or 7 months now today I get the dreaded 'epump offline' error. Not sure what to do from here.... any ideas? The odd thing...

I changed my filters yesterday (jandy cl460) and i hav a completely new pool. Mine were original 16 years old, and looked fine, but obviously weren't. Pool cleaner barely crept around, didn't climb sides, algae blooms, poor solar heating... bought a new set of filters ($160) and its like a new...

Ok, i decided that after 16 years it was time to get new filters.... installed them today and EVERYTHING is back to normal! As i said before, I am not a smart man, but finally did something smart! Thank you to all who replied!

Peter, when I had this problem before, a pool guy said the same thing about the spas side controller. He disconnected it, but I still see power there (light on). Could that still be giving me trouble, and if so, how do I disconnect it?

my jandy system occasionally and randomly goes "offline". No rhyme or reason to it. It happened today, and is currently reporting "Jandy Epump offline". I've flipped off and on all the breakers, but still the same thing. Most likely tomorrow it will all be back up and running. I have no idea...

OMG, I am not a smart man.... yes, OF COURSE the lid needs to be on the pump! All fixed, and i am sorryvfor bothering all you smart people with my foolishness on a Saturday night!

I've posted about this several times over the years, but it's happening again. I flipped the breakers, reset the controller, still nothing. I opened up the crontroller to see if there was anything causing a short, but couldn't find anything that looked wrong or out of place. Everything's...

I cleaned the filters, buttoned it back up, turned on the pump and its back running and moving around like normal. Then i turned on solar, and it stopped. I've got 10 PSI with solar off, and 17 PSI with solar on. What's going on?

Ok, ill do as poolman suggests and remove one (i have 4). Probably wont get to this until the weekend, so dont hold your breath waiting for my reply! :ROFLMAO:
