I'm having an intermittent issue with my Laars Lite 2 heater, it will fire, run a cycle, shut down, and the temp control module starts clicking, and the unit will not cycle again until I manually turn the temp dial down and then back up again. Time for a new controller?

Is there any way to test the thermistor?

Would love a little more insight on how to accomplish the conversion to the Honeywell. Would i need to remove the Laars temp control completely? I just looked at the Honeywell and they are considerably cheaper than a new temp controller from Laars.

It doesnt matter which pot I use they both have to be turned up almost to max. before the unit will fire.
