Since the controller is visible now, I think Pentair can trouble shoot the problem.

I can access the controls on my iPhone now, but the program still won't start on the computer. I am afraid to touch anything now!!!!

So after hooking the adapter back up to the router it suddenly appears in the start-up menu, which it hadn't done before. But the program won't start, I assume I need to Configure IP info?

That's how the system is set up. One cable to router WAN port, then everything else plugged in downstream. 3 other devices on the network work just fine. Just not the Protocol Adapter.

Yes I did. I am going to use my laptop to see if I can ping the adapter. Maybe its bad? It was working 2 weeks ago, so I don't think it is, but you never know.

I got a EdgeRouterX and set it up. All devices work on the network (PC/Google Mesh, etc), but the protocol adapter still returns the same error.

Success!!! Once I adjusted the valve and aligned it to the internal switches properly the spa stays full. Last question. How do I get the water to flow from the spa into the pool?

I changed the spring loaded part and the cover and it didn't help. Does the entire valve need to be changed or could it be something else?
