Hate to resurrect an old thread but . . . I would just like to send the readings to Home Assistant somehow. Can that be done through a Pi, and nodejs_poolController with the RS 485 adapter? Am I reading that right?

This is a hot mess. While I am waiting for my new pump to arrive, I am thinking about revamping my pumping station. Maybe put down a new pad, cut and cap off the unused piping, and make the flow a little better. Any suggestions on what to change and what to use as a pad?

Neither of those are dual speed, right? The variable speed pumps are just out of my price range.

I have a creepy crawly thing keeping the bottom clean. Would I just have it do the higher speed a few hours a day to kick that in? Or would i have to set it up every time I want to use it? Basically I really don't want to create more work for myself.

Well, used the pool again today. FC 8.2 CC .6 <-- Don't really understand those numbers but whatever. Looks good to me.

So I just got home before heading back out to work and the pool if much clearer but my FC was 11ppm so something is using the chlorine. According to the calculator I needed another 3/4 gallon of 10.5% to get it back up and we will see how she looks in the morning.

Thanks. I am hoping it is a pretty quick turnaround. I found out that my filter was almost impenetrable this weekend and replaced it. My filter canister pressure went from ~35 psi to ~2psi after the change. I will probably have a little quicker cleanup after that. lol
