The idea is that the robotic pool cleaner uses less wattage than if you had a seperate pool pump running a suction pool cleaner, plus it cleans the whole pool faster which is less run time.

    I have a newly built pool and I went with 3.5ft, 5ft and 4ft. I have a 7 year old and older kids and we all are fine with the depth, but I'm not big into swimming laps either.     Thanks everyone!!! I used 1/2" fittings for the drain setup. I purchased this http://m.homedepot.com/p/Halex-1-2-in-Rigid-Water-Tight-Conduit-Hub-91631/100129507 Plus 1/2" nipple and 1/2" female connection spigot. All is water tight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
