New Intex CO6220 error code 91 (low salt)

Had my water tested and the salt level is at 6000 so it’s high but I’m still getting the low salt error.

New Intex CO6220 error code 91 (low salt)

Last year our Intex SWG went out and of course due to the pandemic EVERYONE bought pools so we purchased and installed a new Intex CO6220 this year. We have a 16X32X53 pool and this weekend when we opened the pool I put in 11 bags of salt as needed to start up. (We used chlorine last year since...

Steps or Ladders for Intex pool

Hello!! Last year we upgraded to the Ultra XTR 36X16 rectangle pool and we love it. The pool is partially in the ground and this year we are planning on building steps/decking along one side for easy entry and exit. We would like to use some of the steps that I've seen online, however, my...

    Intex valve issue

So I’m guessing the only way to fix my issue is to put the large valve in....really didn’t want to cut my pool but guess that’s my only option....

    Intex valve issue

why does Intex change something that worked just fine?? We’ve owned Intex pools for years (we are on our 4th pool) and have never had issues until now. We purchased a 32x16 rectangle this year and they have changed the intake valve! Now there are two small intakes instead of one large. Didn’t...

What can I do about odor??

Yes, we had a cold snap so we went ahead and closed it and then the temps rose back to the high 80s for a couple of weeks. So I’d say I do have an algae bloom...

What can I do about odor??

We used a mesh cover this year (trying something new) and the pool has been closed for over a month, but have noticed that it is emitting an awful odor. Is this normal? Will it fade? Of not what do I need to do if anything??

    Take down or close?

we live in Bowling Green (close to Clarksville) and we've had an Intex for about 6 years. We don't take ours down - we drain some, plug up the intake/output and remove all the hoses. This year we are using a leaf net to cover the pool along with the net we put up around the pool to keep a lot...

    Leaf net thoughts

that's what we're planning on using instead of a cover. We face a huge field and no matter how much we tie the cover down, it never fails that wind gets under it and we end up with the disgusting contents in the pool which totally defeats the purpose of the cover!

    Leaf net thoughts

We're looking at purchasing a leaf net to cover our pool to keep most of the leaves/debris out while the leaves fall. Anyone have one or used one? They're fairly reasonable to purchase, so just curious what other people have experienced with them

    Intex SWG sensor issue

Yeah I know - there's not a Walmart within 2 hours that had one in stock. ?? think we are just going to finish out the next couple of weeks with some chlorine tabs and buy and new one for next year.

    Intex SWG sensor issue

so I am getting the Low Salt message (even though I know we are not low on salt) and I believe it's the sensor. Why does Intex not make it so that it's just an alarm and doesn't turn it's self off??? Any ideas on how to disconnect the sensor? I hate to have to purchase a new SWG again (lines...

intex sand pump gauge in yellow

Finally got our pool up and running...but I have a question...my sand pump gauge is in the red - like all the way to the right even before turning it on. I've back washed and it didn't drop hardly at all. I've already added salt so I was going to turn it on to circulate the water to help the...

Re: Coleman 16' x 48" - I've learned a lot so far from here, but still pondering the Curious about the intake....we bought a Coleman this year to replace our Intex and the intake valve on the out side just doesn't seem to tighten enough for our liking. Tried using our old Intex valve but the...

Walmart pool supply and Coleman opinion

Kmart had the 26' for $699 and Walmart was $824. We stayed with the 22" and got a Coleman this time (because it was cheaper). I ordered mine on Sunday and is supposed to be available at the store for pick up on the May 10.

Intex vs Bestway vs Coleman quality? + fittings interchange?

We purchased a Coleman this year to replace our Intex (saw on here that they were basically interchangeable) so I hope they are the same fittings or else hubby will have to add that to the list of things he'll have to fix! We have used a SWG for several years (are on our second one) and rust on...

    Full time pumping - Intex

we had a 22' Intex and purchased the sand filter for it. We run it about 12 hours a day along with the SWG. We've never had any trouble with our water.

    Census Poll on Intex Users

We are on our 5th Intex pool (22x54) Ultra frame. We love them! We are purchasing a new one this year as the saltwater tends to rust out the legs (since it's not much more to purchase a brand new one as opposed to purchasing new poles). We have upgraded to a sand pump and have the SWG both...

    New Pool Choice & Advice

Was curious about the Coleman pool as well. We've had an Intex for several years (usually go larger each time we replace!), but saw the Coleman and was curious what others thought. I agree with SWG and sand pump - both make a HUGE difference in your pool.

    Pump running time

I have several large trees as well (stupid leaves and sticks!) and now that it's getting towards the end of summer and it's dry, the leaves are falling much quicker. We rarely use the pool during the week now that school has started, so I was thinking about changing the filter times to...

    Pump running time

I'm just curious how long everyone runs their sand pump?? Do you run it 24/7, 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours?? Do you run it overnight or during the day? I'm currently running mine 12 hours (10am-10pm) and the swp for 9 hours. Of course, summer is almost over and we will be closing it next...

Take down the Intex or leave up

We have had an Intex ultra frame for 5 years and never take it down, mostly because we have no where to store it. We didn't cover it last year, and won't make that mistake this year.

    Leaf Net Cover??

ok, you've sold me!! Was just looking at them on Amazon...seems like a good investment!! We end up loosing our cover half way through the season and the leaves and such end up in the pool anyway. Maybe this will be easier to keep clean.

    Leaf Net Cover??

curious as to where you got your net?? We have trees around our yard and it seems like we are forever fishing leaves out. My husband was thinking of finding some type of netting to string over the pool (roof level) to help keep some of it out.
