I already tried to explain to one of my friend, using nature H2O, with 0.6 ppm FC and CYA to more than 90ppm will not sanitarise the pool. But his pool is crystal clear, that mean no problem.....

Finnaly i got my water analysed, frome a friend, with taylor reagent . I got the same relsult: 50 ppm My test was correct, now i just have to manage how i could lost 40 ppm........

I wiped the tip for this morning test, same result . I forgot to tell my pool have 30 ppm of borate. Those borate may interfer?? I performed this test all last season, but this is the first year i use borate ....

TA test affected by FC ? Hello, Before slaming, my TA was 90 ppm (i count 9 drops) Now, at FC of 5.0 i only count 5 drops for a TA at 50 ppm . I dit not refil the pool, nothing. I only add this morning 1kg of borax to ajust pH I always test in 25 ml, add 2 drops of reagent 7, 5 of reagent 8...

On pool calculator, i got this message: To lower TA you reduce pH to 7.0-7.2 with acid and then aerate to increase pH. Aerating the pool is it bring water in the air or bring air inthe water ? Thanks !

Oh, i did not realize until now. On the Recommended Levels for your pool, they only propose 30-50 range without explication about why choose 30, 40 or 50 ppm. Actually i was targeted 50 ppm, but with my poor sun exposure, i will now target 40 ppm. Maybe add a specification on the Recommended...
