    SWG not producing chlorine

The odd thing is, I use to see bubbles come out the return jet, but this year I am not seeing anything. It has been at 100% for days now. My water is crystal clear too. Here are my results: FC - 10 CC - 0 PH - 7.5 Cal - 300 TA - 110 CYA - 50 These numbers are typical for me for the past 4...

    SWG not producing chlorine

I have a Circupool Si 30 cell that has stopped making chlorine. The display shows the volts and amps going up, but nothing is being created (salt 3300). I called up Discount Salt Pool, and the person on the phone said that he is 99% sure my problem is my phosphates are too high. I have never...

Latham liner warranty seems useless, experience?

Just wanted to provide some closure to this. I hit them up again and confirmed the size and shape of my pool. Here they were quoting me a custom in ground pool liner, and not a standard 24' round AGP. The new price is $224. That does include shipping which will come via a carrier (not...

Latham liner warranty seems useless, experience?

Like buying a new phone... - - - Updated - - - Yea. I was pretty disappointed at their customer service. I guess, I will probably just get something from somewhere else. This is the liner that came with my pool so I don't have an itemized list of what each part costed. Maybe I will reach...

Latham liner warranty seems useless, experience?

I was wondering if anyone had experience or filed a liner warranty claim. I have a Latham liner in my pool. I am getting some separation along the bead. I am on year three of my warranty so I emailed them and sent them pictures. They approved the warranty claim and said I would be responsible...

Deck over? or level? or under? the Top Plate

I went over, and then used a router to round over the edge. Putting the winter cover on can be a PITA, but not enough to make me wish I did anything else.

    Wanda the Whale Issues

I have a Wanda as well. I have a two speed 1hp pump. The pump sits about 12 feet from the pool. Wanda runs just fine on hi speed. She also works good on low speed, she just does not move as fast. So all of the parts on her freely move? There is a back ring and a couple paddles on the bottom...

    Covering your pool

We cover ours every night until it gets to warm, then we leave it off for a night. Just a balance of how warm you want to keep the water. We like it around 84-88. Once it gets over 88, we leave it off for a night to bring the temp back down. It also keeps the bugs out by putting the cover on.

Hey North East, Anybody Open Yet?? (Southern New Jersey here)

Central PA here, and I opened a few weeks ago. Since we have had 17 days of rain in a row. The water temp is hanging around 69. This time last year we were swimming with water temps in the mid 80's. Probably still a couple weeks out till we think about it.

Any regrets on above ground pool? Round vs oval

We wanted an oval at first. When we went to look at them at the local dealer, they talked us out of it. The girl drew a circle on a piece of paper, and then put a two lines though it to make it an oval. She said look at all of that swim space, that was just eliminated to make an oval. Not to...

    Deck size?

yea, they fit very nicely. They are actually curved in the back to fit the curve of the pool wall. There is plenty of room for someone to sit on them while people are getting in and out of the pool. Here is another picture.

    Deck size?

The camo tool is amazing. Takes a little longer, but well worth it. The steps have been a big hit, everyone loves them. I will tell you this, our local shop was selling them for 500, however I found them online for 350. So YMMV. Also on the Marksman tool. Be sure to use the smallest spacer...

Out of level on 2 sides

are you checking the water line to the top rail. I thought I was a couple inches off when i filled it with water. But then I realized that it was just the pattern on the top of the liner making it look out of level. I checked the water and I am right on to maybe a 1/8th.

    Conifer plastics staircase style ladder

I have the confer wedding cake style. I do have them filled with sand, and it takes two pretty strong people to get them out. It could be easily done if you had one person inside the pool, and one person outside the pool. But by the time i took the steps out the water was in the 60s. I may try...

How often do you brush your pool?

I only toss in the vac if i see visible debris. It is not often since I don't have trees dumping garbage into the pool. However, I don't even own brush. I have had my pool for 1.5 seasons, and have not done it once. Maybe I am a disaster waiting to happen. However, I never saw a need to brush...
