I had wanted a hammock for such a long time. My kids finally got me one a few years ago with the stand but was too big for the patio, so had to come up with a new idea, and came up with this. My hubbie built it one day I was at work. Love it so much!

We took out all the existing bricks, dug down about 2 to 3 ft, layed down rock, then installed what's called a uni- lock brick that is permeable so no standing water on the deck. Had a cousins son help who is starting his own landscape business. Was hard work, but well worth the effort.

Redid the brick patio last fall and put in a new liner this spring. So happy with how it all turned out !

I always pour it slowly in front of the returns. You really dont want to pour it directly in the skimmer. Not good for the pipes. Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3

I get sun on my pool from about 10am until about 6pm. I probably lose about 2 to 3 CL per day. My pool does not get as much use as it use to. Kids are getting older and off doing their own thing, so I am usually the only one who is using it. And it hasn't been the warmest summer just yet in...

My pool is topless. I am in the Chicagoland area. My biggest issue is the cotton flying the whole month of June. Have to do alot of skimming, but otherwise my pool stays clean and sparkly. My cya is 30 and I keep my FC at 4. I use 12.5% liquid chlorine and use about a gallon every 3 days...

That doesn't look finished for sure. I would not be happy with that.

Ours might have a bit more room. I do remember it was not easy to get it in all the way. Remembering back, he might have used the rubber end of the hammer to hold it in place and then hit the top of the hammer with the mallet.
