Rainbow7 I ended up having a heater technician come and he had to change the whole board out. Now it works fine.

My heater still fired up even without the display. I just can’t read what temp it is set to. And I never figured out what was wrong either

Hi I replaced the display and it is still blank. The display lights up but is blank. Could I have a short in a connector to the circuit board?

So I think I may have messed up the display when I installed it. It says to remove the protective film. But it wasn’t like there was a think piece of protective covering . So I pulled and scraped and got a thick layer off . It was a green layer. Now I wonder if that was a necessary layer and...

I have a Raypak 266A-E_X heater. the display went out so I replaced it with a new one but now it lights up but is blank. I hooked everything back up correctly. Is there something else that could be wrong?

This is exactly what is happening to my son’s pool. His is an above ground 24 in. We cleaned the sand filter and slammed the pool and the water is now clear but jets still low down a lot after some run time.

If I cleaned out the filter why would it back up clogged? Not sure if that is the problem but how do you fix a clogged filter? If he turns it off and back in then it starts suchioning again. Would that be a leak somewhere causing it to lose suction? Or would it be the filter?

Hello I am trying to help my son with his above ground pool . When he turns the pump on it works good for about an hour and then loses suction and eventually just stops sucking water at all. I cleaned the sand filter yesterday . But the problem still exists. Any advice?

Thanks. I found the sensor and have ordered a new one. So I will see if that fixes it. My model is 266a it is a Raypak. It is the thermostat sensor that is failing.

Help. My Rheem heater is giving me a message of sensor failure. Does this mean I have to replace the sensor? How difficult is that?

What if I put a hose down the hole to help dissolve. How can I dissolve? It is at an angle down the pipe.

Stupid me dumped the stabilizer directly into both skinners and now they are both clogged . What can I do to unclog them. Will the stabilizer eventually dissolve and unclog on its own?
