Seems like ever since I disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled my DE filter it's been running at a higher PSI. What did I screw up and what are some potential solutions and/or troubleshooting tips the almighty TFP crowd might have?? Thanks in advance!!!

I need to drain some water because my CYA levels are pretty high. Given my equipment, what's the preferred/easiest/best method of draining some water? Also, what's an appropriate amount to drain and refill with fresh water? Thanks!

I'm having a tough time searching the forum, so if I'm missing a thread, my apologies. I've got a Pentair DE filter. I do not know how often I should be backwashing, how much DE to put back in the water after backwashing and how often to clean the filters. Again, sorry if this has been hashed...
