    Yeah, you'd come back to huge jucuzzi lol. I have solar panels in Summerlin, NV and it jumped to 95 degrees in 4 days when it was over 110 degrees outside when I was gone Ran for 6 hours a day . and the chlorine was gone but no green stuff. You'd practically have no heat loss cause of a cover

    Thanks I'm sure it's the orginal O ring but over the last 10 years since I've owned the pool I've always used silicone grease. But I'm changing the O ring, I think it's 15 years old and never has been change as far I know.

    You guys are lucky with your bleach use. I go through 5/6 gallons a week at 70 cya. But, it is +-110 for almost 3 straight months. Solar gets it up to 85 too

    OMG I just went to Leslie's and paid 4.75 for a 2 gallon twin pack of 10%. They bought out Nevada Pool Supplies and have taken over The Las Vegas Valley area. I hate that store ! Although that price seems fairly good after reading this We're at 85 degrees this week :mad:

    Accidentally added DE earth to a cartlidge filter!

    Vacuum and wash filters again. I can't think of another answer but that maybe would work. Keep an eye on pressure. You may have go to clean 2x Although no one would knows how much you put in ? Experts Will Chime in

    how long to run pool pump?

    3-4 hours a day from November -March here in the desert for me. April -October 5-6 hours and dump gallon after gallon of 10% bleech it seems 3-4 gallons a week anyway, unless kids/adult party happens, which on the weekend can happen

    Thanks ! Meanwhile I'll try to keep the water level lower then where the tiles popped. This to me is strange, almost like there was movement behind the cement to crack these tiles. I guess that's possible. Hard to believe that it was from the sun and heat, maybe that's possible too

    Pretty clear huh !! You can have that humidity, I was in New York this last June and I was like WHAT !! It was really bad walking around and your clothes are all wet..here at least every things drys in a few seconds at 110 degrees Cheers everyone, it's almost over !! Mark

    I love pool ownership, it's therapeutic. :D but this heat this year is overwhelming, another 111 degree day today and tomorrow. Dry heat my butt The difference between 105 and 110 is ridiculous... 115 is insane 40 years and I've never get used to it :( Pool drinks more chlorine per day...
