    Slight Depression Spotted Near Upright

is there a leak at the seam or in the indented area? any sign of leaking (lower than expected water level) or water/mud on the ground outside of that area? I am presuming this is a new indentation and not a brand new install, right? could it be rodents or something burrowing?

    Problems with Intex SWG

in addition to the article above, yes you probably need to replace the electrode fairly often, and yes you can put a different brand on. as to replacement intex parts - just keep checking and fiddling with their website, using search for the exact part number. eventually stuff comes back in...

Has anyone had any luck with selling an Intex pool?

4 years is getting up there for an Intex, but the equipment and steel for spare parts might be sell-able. Liner is probably a wash and that isn't really a replaceable item, cheaper to get a whole new pool. agree, spring might be a better time to unload it.

Semi-Inground Pool Built Incorrectly... Figuring out next steps

I think your liner is new enough it will probably be alright, but if it seems to not fit going back up you may need to replace. I think I have read people store them in a big tub of water when this sort of thing happens. definitely do not leave it out in the sun!

Too much Free Chlorine - Just Refilled Pool

I lose 5 to 6 PPM of chlorine daily in summer and I am at 4500 ft elevation, it will come down in a day or two. be careful trying to adjust CYA for a random high reading of chlorine. chlorine goes away quickly, cya does not. also are you reading the chlorine test correctly? TWO drops per PPM...

    Vacuum won't move

Intex used to sell a pump and 16 inch sand filter combo. I don't think they do any longer, though you can get them as replacement parts on their website (sometimes). there are probably lots of fairly inexpensive options, even the 14 inch is going to be better than the little cannister...

Pool Vinyl Liner Leak at Seam

so it was used and you have had it 2 years? seam leaks are tough to deal with, I think the pool has probably reached the end of its life, more than 3 years old and been moved at least once? these things only have about a 5 year lifespan in the best of circumstances (although I got 11 years...

    Vacuum won't move

is that a suction side vacuum? I have an older intex cleaner and it is a pressure side cleaner. sometimes people hook cleaners up the wrong way and I am not familiar with the wanda the whale. either way I suspect that pump/filter is not going to drive a cleaner well at all. I just put up the...

You want Pool? DIY $$ costs in for Intex 12'x24'x52-inch UltraXTR using Amazon.

if the shipping wasn't insane I'd gladly send you my old one. I fought with it for a season or two and after finally cutting the real one into the pool it was a total "why didn't I do this earlier?" new pool had it in on day 2. :ROFLMAO:

You want Pool? DIY $$ costs in for Intex 12'x24'x52-inch UltraXTR using Amazon.

you will likely come to hate that floating skimmer, many of us cut holes into our new (or old) pools and add a regular above ground pool skimmer. they work much better.

Concerns About Pool Liner Longevity Due to rocks under liner

is this a round or oval pool? if oval, is what you are feeling part of the bracing underneath the middle? sounds like installer didn't cover with enough sand. all can cause holes which can be patched but if it is a new install might be worth making them come fix and reinstall. if older there...
