It is but just need clarification. So once I get FC up to shock level will it stay there or will I have to keep adding a bunch of bleach daily or multiple times a day to keep it high? Just need to know how much bleach I need to have.

So add 16 ounces of meuratic acid and 2 gallons of bleach? How long do I wait between the two?

Dump this morning and refilled.. and skipped all the testing except the CYA since apparently nothing really matters until that gets down.. it is still above 100.. roughly 130 I would estimate.. so im dumping and refilling again, hopefully this will get it down. Whats a number i can stop at and...

Ok guys.. Dumped about half a pool and filled today. Got my Taylor k2006 kit :) too FC 4ppm CC 1ppm PH 7.0. Took 17 drops to get to 7.6 TA: 100 CH 220 CYA. Black dot disappeared really quick.. Like an inch of water in the tube..an inch away from 100 :( What to do now?

I have meuratic acid, about 4lbs of dichlor and three gallons of Clorox. Pucks? Like clorine? I got about ten more of the 1inch size chlorine pucks

It's on waste and is dumping like crazy.. Thx. I'm thinking more water out the better.. Right? Problem I have once it is dumped is filling because it will be happening overnight and y'all recommended to add bleach throughout the fill correct? Or can I add some at the beginning like at 7:30pm...

would it be fine to just dump the water out of the pump? it has a backwash option which sucks water out and spits it out the back..

So how much do I drain, just half?

Just to be clear the 30lbs wasn't all at once. It was like 3lbs every other day for a while, then went to 1lb every 12hrs for a few days, then a couple 2lb days in there..
