Wow, I would have backwashed the filter first before replacing all of that stuff

well, after further inspection the impeller is cracked. so that explains the no flow :) will try to get it up and running tomorrow after i find a replacement part.

maybe to hook up a pressure gauge??

The pump label is missing unfortunately, as I said above. No kids, and no toys made it in. As for no prime, it typically self primes on its own just fine. But I did fill the strainer with water to try to give it a boost and it didn't help.

so, i have an issue with the shutoff valve tied into the auto fill on my pool. it started to leak so i had to shut it off but obviously i need to replace this valve if i want autofill to work again. what is this thing called?? i've tried googling a few things but haven't had much luck yet.
