I have EasyTouch but don’t think it is wired for adding salt system

I have EasyTouch. Use ScreenLogic app. But, someone gave me a quote today and said it is not Salt ready so I need a separate control center.

I am getting SWG quotes this week. I have everything Pentair. Should I get Pentair IC40? Otherwise, should I go for Circupool Edge40? Any suggestions?

Hello, my dolphin M500 is tripping the circuit breaker. Contacted Maytronics and they suggested buying a new power supply. I checked the lower supply and it has water in it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Why do we need skimmer socks if we have a cartridge/Sand filter? I see lot of threads and people getting excited about seeing stuff that skimmer socks catch... But, isn't that the job of the filter? Thanks!

Can we add at the other ends of the pool? My pool is 40 ft long... I usually add chlorine on one end of the pool and acid on the other end... one after other. Is that dangerous? I have return jets on both ends.

Thank you for the reply! How/where do I find the wind pattern? Does movement of the water pump matter even if I don't have in-floor cleaning? If so, is it just where the water would return to from the pump?

Thank you JVTrain! I tried several valve positions... but, nothing seems to be helping. Must be a problem with the valve. I drained a couple of times before and never had this problem.

Pump started back on its own... so I think it primed... But, I still see lot of air coming below the skimmer... Did I miss a step in draining water? I turned off the water flow to pool, closed the skimmer by turning the handle like in above picture and opened the outlet to drain water Any help...
