I have a taylor fas-dpd test kit k-1515a. I also just bought the talyor salt pro test kit last week. The k-1515 kit says to use 2 scoops of r-0870. The salt pro kit says to use 1 scoop. Which one is right? I'm doing the 10ml test. Thanks

Update, and a few questions Pool is looking much better, can see the floor pretty well now, and the black algae on the wall in the deep end mostly. Pool is eating about .5 ppm of chlorine every 2 hours. Question is how soon after I add liquid shock can I retest fc? Should I worry about testing...

Ok guys, got my tf salt pro test kit. Here are my results. 6 fc .5 cc 3000 salt 5 tc 7.9 ph could be lower, was a shade in-between 7.8-8.2 40 cya 250 ch 110 ta Pool is cloudy, but getting a little better. Can barely see the bottom at 3ft. 15k gal saltwater.

Am I only missing the cya test? I understand you recommend only certain kits, but seems like it wouldn't make sense buying a entire kit if if I could just buy the taylor cya test kit.

Hello I have a 15000 gal saltwater pool. It had been covered, not in use for 3 years. Removed the leaves, raised cya to upper 20s, started shocking, and added algecide. Flocked twice, didnt make much difference. This was before I found pool school, pool math app. Started a slam since March...
