Okay. My normal clean filter pressure is 9-10psi. Added DE 1 hour ago and pressure is staying at 7psi. DE was diluted in water completely prior pouring in skimmer. I am also getting some bubbles from the return eye now. Should I backwash and start again with the DE addition and see how the...

I just added 1cup of DE diluted in water to my sand filter. I was expecting a pressure increase but I actually lost 3psi almost immediately. Should i continue to add DE until i reach my 1 psi gain? Or is there another issue going on?

There are no visible leaks on not around the skimmer area. The pool is clear but dirty you can see the bottom but cloudy. The water seems to be saturating the area under the skimmer basket between the return. I'll post pics later I'm headed to work now. The area almost seems to be coming...

I was prepared to SLAM after uncovering, but assuming draining more water and replacing some with clean would potentially lessen the length of SLAM needed, Its pretty swamp like right now after the dump.

Speed Stir Question.... Do I need to add my drops of reagent then stir, or can I start it stirring and add while its stirring. I didn't see any specific instructions about not doing that, but I don't want to get bad numbers by doing that.
