    I found this on Pinterest.

I'm not going to use the "shallow end" idea just the exit steps. I've been looking for a economical way to build a set of steps. After reading posts and searching on the internet, I've come to the conclusion that I may be better off building my own pool entrance/exit system rather than buy...

    I found this on Pinterest.

http://pinterest.com/pin/55591376623409152/ I think a smaller version of this will be my next venture. I've been looking something to make it easier for larger older people to get in and out of the pool... Copied instructions: "The Decking The planking is a product from Home...

What to do with that old intex skimmer?

But after about 15 minutes, the pool is churning so fast that it creates a whirlpool affect and debris collects in the center of the pool and never gets pulled toward the skimmer. With this, I can connect it to the original intake and it will float out to...

Skimmer above the weld for intex.

Found this post from 2010. Thought it may be helpful. It's not a wide mouth skimmer but it mounted in a spot where it may be easier to tighten the screws.

Create intex adapters. Step by step. Lots of embedded photos

Re: Create intex adapters. Step by step. Lots of embedded ph Where your custom fitting connects to the pool intake and return, do you have a flat rubber washer that keeps it from leaking at that connection?

    Foam under intex ultra frame

1/2 pink foam sheets only available. Recommendations needed. Should I go ahead and purchase them and then put a durable tarp plus the tarp that came with the pool over them? I have a UF 18x52. Thanks in advance.
