So my current idea is cut in these 2 places. Redo the left pip with a right angle. Install a union type construct on each new straight near the multiport valve.

Okay so I am about to replace my multiport valve due to leak issues. I’m going to have to cut the pipes due to the way it was installed. So how would I go about unions and where do I buy them in person in order to get them today? Are unions not the way to go? I attached one picture I found...

Alright, I appreciate the help. I purchased the whole black top multiport valve and all. I just replaced the top piece and it still leaks. So now I have to find some time to replace the entire top black multiport valve assembly of the sand filter. (Unless someone knows another fix or cause)

Okay, just bought a new o-ring and silicone lubricant. Installed it and it still leaks…. (Not as bad)

I need help diagnosing my issue. My Pentair Tagelus multiport valve is leaking out of the location circled in the picture. The o-ring looks fine and I applied pool o-ring grease to it. I would like any and all advice, info, tips, or solutions. Thanks!
