I opened my pool recently and tested with TFP kit and got the following numbers: pH 7.4 Cl 0 Br 0 FC 1.5 CC 0 TC 1.5 T/A 50 CYA 20 I need help in adjusting as I am having trouble following the pool calculator. Help would be appreciated.

I am frustrated with what to do to get rid of the cloudiness in my pool. I have checked and adjusted all of the chemical levels, and they all test out fine - but still there is the cloudy water. The pool looks great until you get up close and can barely see the bottom through the cloudiness...

How do I adequately shock my pool? Several gallons of liquid bleach???? Is there a mild cleaning agent I can use to scrub the liner of my pool with the brush to remove the algae?
