Help - Omnilogic Touchscreen messed v3.0 - unable calibrate

I just got off with Hayward support - really nice guy. Unfortunately he had me try a few thigns and came to conclusion that the LCD needs replacement. WIth older firmware there is no other way to force the calibration procedure other then hopping through the menus. the bottom part of my screen...

Help - Omnilogic Touchscreen messed v3.0 - unable calibrate

ALl good - i found an old thread on this and some folks said they had to replace the LCD. I'm wondering if just the LCD replacement ($100) part will fix this or if you also have to replace the entire computer. Hayward posted a doc here - seems like a simple enough switch with no impact to any...

Help - Omnilogic Touchscreen messed v3.0 - unable calibrate

Hi all - in the four years of owning the Omnilogic i've had to calibrate the touch screen twice using the procedure found on their site -> Config -> Shell https://hayward-pool-assets.com/assets/documents/pools/pdf/troubleshooting-guides/omnilogic-how-to-guide.pdf?fromCDN=true However this year...

Omnilogic and Pentair Intelliflo integration? Possible?

I have a new pool going in with an omnilogic system and Intelliflo XF pump. We can't find documentation anywhere on how to hookup the Intelliflo to omnilogic so that it will control the speeds... I have the black com cable that came with Intelliflo and some documentation vaguely mentions using...

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

Spoke to local Pentair rep. He is puzzled and thinks it may be a bad batch of seals. He is ordering another pump from a totally different batch. It looks like the pumps I got were all part of the same batch. He didn't really push back and was quite helpful so we'll see where this goes. The...

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

Last night I had a closer look at the original pump that leaked (Pentair left it behind). See pictures attached. Shaft looks perfect (no rust) but you can see the on the plastic flange(sp?) where the water was dribbling down on the motor side (little salt water crust trail on last pic). I don't...

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

My wiring is attached in the pic below. Electrician did it so I never questioned it. Everything bonded to the other equipment. I pulled apart the second pump they gave me (Pentair never picked it up). Looked at the shaft on that unit and it looks perfect without any corrosion. I'll try to take...

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

I will check dbl check wiring. How would that possible cause a leak? Old whisperflo gave me 8 years without a drop of leaks so this boggles my mind.

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

I should also note that I tightened the bolts a bit after I saw the leak. That didn't seem to help either.

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

no nothing I can see. I have gone around the edge of the outtake line on top of the pump with a microscope to see if it was leaking. Only other thing I can think of that would cause water to accumulate in that same spot aside from the shaft seal. Weird thing is the previous pumps leaked after a...

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

Hi there - you are correct it is the same picture as the last pump. The leak is *identical* to the last leak. Same spot where it drips on the motor side. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I called the Pentair service tech but I can already sense that he will tell me it is...

Trouble with new IntelliFlo XF pump station

I have exact same leak issue with a second XF Intelliflo (Pentair replaced first leaking one). Took two months to develop the slow drip by the motor. These pumps are flaky! Did you ever redevelop a leak? Wondering if there was a bad batch of seals.

SECOND INTELLIFLO XF develops same leak?? how is this?

Guys - you won't believe this but Pentair replaced with a new pump. All was well for last two months and tonight I noticed the dreaded drip under the motor. I can't believe my eyes. Any ideas on what part would be causing this leak to occur? see pic (It occurs on motor side of the flange..)...

    whistling raypak digital heater

So after 6 weeks of the pool company going back and forth with Raypak, Raypak suggested to replace the baffle with a new plastic baffle design they have. Pool company did the repair yesterday. Whistling is probably half as loud now but still present. Only way to get rid of whistling is to...

    whistling raypak digital heater

Pool company replaced unitherm was silent for day and then returned. I opened unitherm plug and reseated the part. Silent again for couple hours and then whistle returned. Seems like unitherm part doesn't want to stay seated.. Can I operate heater without unitherm part?

Looking for an automatic air relief valve

Anybody know what the thread type/size is on the Pentair relief valve http://ts1.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.5030240894648708&pid=1.7 - It doesn't look like standard NPT threading - threads look wider apart? I was going to screw in a short plastic riser and create a "T" with one side being my auto...

Looking for an automatic air relief valve

So I went to home depot and bought - http://www.homedepot.ca/product/maid-o- ... ale/969598 I took out the pressure gauge and replaced it with this $8 device (+ a 1/8 -> 1/4 brass reducer). It definitely lets air out when the pump starts up and doesn't seem to leak. A few days later and I'm...
