Are you going to use grout for the bottom of you waterline tile??

What did you end up using for mortar bed. I was thinking of using a premix type s.

Are there any updates on this, i am doing something very similar, how hard was it to get waterline tiles out? How did letting the mortar bed set up work for you.

Well, I think I found tiles, I have probably 2 dozen broken tiles. Would it be a better route to replace all of them??

I was removing old coping and mortar and it was going good until, I blew out a corner by the skimmer. How can I fix this, there appears to be epoxy be the waterline tiles. What do I need todo to fix it, thanks in advance
