    Two weeks with no pump

He just poured the algeacide in (Both the deep and shallow end) but did not run the pump. I was worried because he didn't run the pump or do any mixing. Needless to say, I was very surprised to see the pool was OK when I got home.

    Two weeks with no pump

Here's the followup on this situation. I put 3 chlorine tablets in the dispenser thingy and two gallons of chlorine in the pool (20,000 gallon pool). Then I left the pool pump off for two weeks and went on vacation. After 8 days I called my brother-in-Law and had him put algeacide in the pool...

Ooops! I added an entire gallon of muriatic acid to my pool!

Re: Ooops! I added an entire gallon of muriatic acid to my p Thanks for your reply. I added the acid by walking around the pool spilling it out of the bottle mostly in the deep end. I held the bottle out as far as I could. It did create sort of a temorary acid cloud. It sounds like I don't have...

Ooops! I added an entire gallon of muriatic acid to my pool!

Hi all, I drained my 15,000 gallon in-ground pool to repair the drain cover and do some plaster repairs. After I filled the pool back up with water I misread the treatment directions and added 128 fluid ounces of muriatic acid to the new water. I later realized, according to the pool store...
