I like to run my variable speed pump on low speed 24/7 for skimmer action. I have a hayward SWG Aquarite 940. Is it better to run 24 /7 at lower output or shorter time at 100%. My guess it doesn't matter but just wanna get some feedback.

Should I remove the filter cartridges before or after blowing out the lines. Is it okay to have the air blow thru them or is it better to remove them first. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I am wondering if anyone knows in which direction the rounded bead should go in replacing the gasket. should it face out away from the light or in toward it. just want to get it correct. also should I put some magic lube on it to help seal or will that hurt it.
