So it’s 80 degrees now and doesn’t appear to be leaking. Is it normal to leak during colder temps like 30-40 and then when it’s warm and expanded to not leak?

Question of slam vs shock. I added liquid chlorine before post . Kind of shock level not really slam level

FYI those were 6pm numbers. At 6pm I did 3 gallon of HDX liquid chlorine. As of now at 9pm FC is 13. Will test in the morning I guess my question is more hindsight before action.

Had some old mortar/ grout and gaps. I chiseled it out so I could fill it and stop water from getting behind spa wall. Should I fill the spillover ledge sides with mortar or a good urethane caulk and throw some sand in it to blend ?
