Yes. I have automation and spillover. For a couple hours per day. So if I have Spa completely off while pool is on, then the check valve is obsolete? One other question. Spillover suctions water from the pool, yes?

But if that’s the return line, how will the water drain down? The valve is closed to the rest of the pool and the only place for It to go down is the spa. I’m confused at how It can go back up!
