Is this Intermatic tf1202t panel toast ?

Unfortunately I inherited it when I bought the house. Had no idea it was configured like that. Is there a chance the other electrical equipment has been damaged like the salt panel?

Brand New Polaris 380 Weak Backup Pressure

Yeah the new one was faulty. Nothing obvious to me externally. I held the new (bad one) up out of water and it was like a water hose nozzle set to full rather than stream. Connected my old working valve and when I held it out of the water it was like a jet stream and was shooting a lot farther.

Brand New Polaris 380 Weak Backup Pressure

Installed my new Polaris 380. I am not sure if I just need to tweak it or I have a real problem. I replaced a Letro Legend II? that was 15 years old 1. I used the blue plastic flow thing in the wall fitting. 2. I got exactly 28 RPM on the wheel speed test. 3. My hose is a bit too long (2ft) I...

Expected Life of the Hayward Aquarite AS32 2R025 Thermistor?

Replaced my AS32 2R025 Summer 2015. Yesterday I was gonna get a salt read and had 2.2v on diagnostics. Took apart this morning to find the replacement thermistor split nearly in half. Is it the usage or does weather play a factor in the life cycle. My box is mounted on southwest side of house...

    AquaRite T15 salt cell replacement

I used a see through blue knock off t15 and it worked fine for chlorine generation however the plastic used on the screw threads became brittle in two years and snapped off during normal unscrewing to clean the cell. I suspect a particular hard freeze in North Texas this year caused that. I...

    Frozen Pipes?

No water flowing in to pump none out. Tried priming pump and no joy. Pump sounds bad... Grundy. Out of my depths. Drained the pumps removed salt cell and will pray enough water is out of lines to allow non destructive expansion tonight. Luckily it is Texas so it will be 60 in two days. Will see...

    Pollen Mistaken as Algae?

I keep my SWG North Texas (Ft Worth) pool open year round. I have no backyard trees. My vegetation surrounding my pool is Crepe Myrtle and Red Tip Photinia. After a winter of keeping up with my pool and having decently balanced chemicals I noticed this past week a yellow/greenish growth on my...

Do you have a spare Raypak 2100 Heater part I need?

Well I am back up and running. Ultimately it was the Control Board and the Mode/Hot/Cold buttons on the control panel. The rusted out pressure sensor was just a bonus find. Thank you Paul for the assistance and sending me the LCD at first. I am going to try and seal the electrical area off and I...

Do you have a spare Raypak 2100 Heater part I need?

Update I got a new control board on ebay and popped it in. Turned it all on and I got spark and the heater started heating. However I am only getting the POOL mode and I can't change my set points. I am going to assume that I was wise in getting a new keypad and membrane that will be delivered...

Do you have a spare Raypak 2100 Heater part I need?

To be honest.... I am sure I am putting a bandaid on the issue. The PCB board/buttons will be my last attempt. Currently I have $ the funds to try that. I don't have the funds to replace the whole unit. So if this does not work it might be a year before I can replace the whole unit.

Do you have a spare Raypak 2100 Heater part I need?

Hi Paul, Yes holding down all three buttons for up to 10 seconds did not change to Remote mode. Still just says off and water temp. I will start looking for replacement boards. I think to be safe I will replace the buttons as well (PN 006739F) In your experience are the PCB board failures...

Hi ps0303. Ok I re-seated the LCD panel you sent me along with all of my PCB board connectors. I now can see the screen. Thank you for that spare screen. I replaced the pressure sensor today and reconnected the wiring. (I did not make an adjustment to the default pressure from shipping) The...

Question on Gas Heater BTU Needs.

Currently I have a Raypak 2100 (406) that can heat the pool and hot tub. I don't really ever see me needing to heat my pool. I did get quite attached to sitting in the hot tub in the winter though. I am in the process of Troubleshooting my old RP2100 that may be not worth saving. If I decide to...
