    Instapark Betta review

Mine does this too. I haven't found a pattern to it yet, but it feels like it does it more when the water level is high.

    Instapark Betta review

My SE does the spin thing in heavy rain. I think it messes with the sensors. My SE was in the shade most of the day Saturday b/c we were swimming and then it rained in the afternoon so it didn’t have much of a chance to charge. The next morning was the first time I’ve seen it in low power mode...

    Removing sediment

TFP does not recommend using FLOC. I think you just need to give your filter time. Probably brush more often to stir up the particulate.

Interested in seeing how you end up. My IC-40's reading of salinity is off by more than 500 too.

    Mystery White Stuff

I haven't added any fill water since I last tested TA (I have added MA). Is there any other way TA would rise besides fill water (aside from intentionally adding something)?

    Mystery White Stuff

Any idea what this white stuff could be? Found it near a return bubbler on sun shelf. It dissolves if you rub it between your fingers. I was thinking maybe calcium, but my water chemistry seems to be in reccomended ranges. Using a PH meter for PH.

    Bewildered…

At the beginning of the SLAM you should be testing and adjusting FC back to SLAM level every 2 hours or as often as you can. Once it starts holding longer you can increase in interval of your testing and adjusting.

2+ Weeks into SLAM and .... now what?

When you add cya, you assume it’s there, and does your chlorine accordingly.
  14. JupiterFL

Chlorine drop to ~0 ppm after calcium addition. UPDATE: Now with controlled test.

I used 21 lbs of the same brand, around the same time, from Amazon and didn’t have any issues. It’s a strange phenomenon for sure. I pre mixed mine in a 5 gallon bucket (I know, frowned upon), 5 lbs at a time. Don’t see how that could make a difference for the FC loss, but idk….

    Maximum FC level

Also, and Poolstored corrrect me if I am wrong, but the HOCL at SLAM level is less than any of the “authorities” reccomended FC levels with no CYA.

How often are you dosing throughout the day?

Can’t keep up with the algae

This is not right. With the proper FC/CYA ratio you should only need to brush once a week (and there will never be any green or haze). Your current process is not eradicating all of the algae and it's coming back. Get one of the recommended test kits (TFP Pro is best or TFP pro salt if you have...

CYA 70 and PPM 8.5 - too high for swimming?

It’s safe to swim all the way up to slam level, which is well above where you are now. You’re in the regular range of us on #teamrunhot

    What clarifies as clear?

This is the stage where you add the DE to filter, but keep FC at SLAM, until crystal clear. Read the link that was posted previously so you know to watch the pressure, etc.

Turning Off Cooling Function in Spa Mode

Thank you for the help in navegating to the right place. I lost internet yesterday so wasn't able to try until now. When I add a heater and click on "type" for the heater it doesn't give me the option for the UltraTemp. I assume because it's already being used.

Turning Off Cooling Function in Spa Mode

I have not tried that. Not sure i know how. I don't even see the heater in the web interface (or on the app). I actually did ask the pool builder if he could link the same heat pump as a separate heat pump for the spa without cooling, and he said no, but frankly he's pretty new to the...

Turning Off Cooling Function in Spa Mode

Adding a clarification here and calling on @Jimrahbe See photo. Is there a way to turn the cooling setpoint off in spa mode only, while leaving it enabled in pool mode? I’ve seen a photo of screen logic where it only had cooling showing in pool mode, but I don’t know if Intellicenter is...

Best robot for climbing? I have a trench in my pool

I don’t have anything to compare it to (first robot) but I am very happy with its cleaning. It gets everything in one cycle. In my research, before buying it, I came to the conclusion that it was probably the first battery robot that could compete with the corded ones. I have a Betta SE skimmer...
