My pool builder did the same method, but unde the porch the decking is extremely discolored due to trapped water between the sand and travertine. No amount of washing or solvents will fix that. Do you have any issues with discoloring?

Isn’t the blower supposed to be actually attached to the PVC? They say the are ready for the safety inspection but this makes no sense… Why would they run the PVC pipe on a corner where you can’t actually attach it to the blower?

You can see the sand on the right side of the pool deck. It was the same sand used underneath the porch. They also used playground sand from Home Depot to spread over the top to fill in the gaps between tiles.
