What is a fair price for a heater install? Looks like a Raypak 406,000 BTU Digital Electronic Ignition Propane Pool Heater is $3600 or so on Amazon. But that does not include install. Local companies out here will kill you, as I have discovered.

I am inclined not to bother with polyquat either this year. I dont cover the pool and I have to use a lot o choline/shock to get pool started in the spring. But I am used to it. At least I have a big net over pool this fall to keep the leaves out.

How did you make out? I have been dealing with this error on my spa heater for years. Let season just accepted that I would need to reset heater 3 or 4 times to get to 104 water temperature in spa.

Another update. Still waiting for parts, but today the SW Open message was on pool heater. And, given the amount of pollen that has come down over the last few weeks, I replaced the DE media in the DE filter. Lo and behold, the SW Open message gone and no Hi Limnit error messages yet either...
