Long time pool owner - 30+ years with this pool. Live in Houston. Built it for the kids, now grandkids and old folks floating. In Ground 30,000 gal plaster pool and spa with Polaris and assoc. pump., Hayward pool heater.

I have a 1985 vintage pool with a PacFab light (Model 60-XX5X). I pulled it because it was leaking and there was what looked like melted plastic goo in the back of the light. Like maybe it was a plastic seal that melted when the light got hot? Should I replace the whole thing or is it OK to use?
