    Pentair Intellilevel wiring question

Hey JamesW. Thanks so much for you help. That is all really helpful! Really do appreciate it. There is no cut cord in the EasyTouch (unfortunately). I think I just need to buy a 3 pin connector. I think this is the right one? Amazon.com Stupid question: it looks like when they connect the wires...

    Pentair Intellilevel wiring question

Hi, has anyone wired a pentair intellilevel automatic pool filler up before? I believe the prior pool builder cut the cord coming off the intellilevel to the control panel (easytouch 8 in my case). From the intellilevel manual it looks like it is suppose to be a three wire cord with a connector...

    Pool Electrical question

Thanks for the reply. The power to the pump is 240. It's Pentair VS pump (intelliflo) so it will be hot wired at the relay. The goal of doing 120V on the Salt cell is because I don't have space for a double pole circuit breaker. Thanks for your help :)

    Pool Electrical question

Hi there, Had a quick electrical question I was hoping someone could help me with. I have an easy touch 8 with integrated SCG transformer and board in it. I am trying to figure out how to connect the transformer for 120V (rather than 240v). Please see attached imagine. From the wiring diagram...

    Pool Pump Electrical Question

Hi. I have two pentair intelliflo variable speed 3HP pumps 220v. I am going to use #10 THHN wire for each of them. Can they be run in the same conduit? Or the 220V #10 wire needs to each be run in its own conduit? Thanks! :)

    Gunite/Shotcrete Question

Part of it is I have already bought all the pool equipment, installed the 240v pool panel, bought all the pool finish, the pool coping, done a lot of the electrical etc. I am hoping (fingers crossed) that I can find some methods that could help some of the issues. If not, so be it. If I pour...

    Gunite/Shotcrete Question

Thank you. This is all very helpful. It's hard to run the plumbing behind the concrete blocks because concrete is already laid. On the other side of the blocks under the window portion of the house is a crawl space. Behind the concrete blocks on the other two sides I am assuming mostly dirt. I...

    Gunite/Shotcrete Question

Hi. thank you for your reply. I am designing by the fly. The extensive waterproofing you mention: meaning waterproofing with a material with epoxy prior to plastering and applying the pool finish? Will that be sufficient? Can you expand upon suspending the pool within a dry zone? Any videos or...

    Gunite/Shotcrete Question

Hello, I'd like to thank people ahead of time for their help. It is very much appreciated. When I bought my house many years ago it was originally suppose to have a pool put in, but eventually the builder had a change of plans and appears to have filled the concrete block space (where the pool...

    Gunite/Shotcrete Question

Thank you so much for your reply, I really do appreciate your feedback. Good pick up on wood rotting and tying plumbing to the rebar. 90-95% of the plumbing will be surrounded by gunite, with only like 5-10% attached to wood. Even if the wood rotted won't the gunite keep the plumbing in place...

    Gunite/Shotcrete Question

Thanks so much for your replies, they are very helpful. So it sounds like it isn't code for the wiring from the salt generator, actuator valves, and low voltage from pool pumps to be in conduit? Since it is already mostly in conduit, is there a recommended way to have the conduit securely fit...

    Gunite/Shotcrete Question

Hi there, So I had a non-electrician run some of the eletrcical conduit from the pool equipment to the pool breaker box (Pentair easytouch). He , however, did not secure the fittings well on the pool equipment and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions that would satisfy code (live in...
