I just dumped 4 gallons of shock in, fingers crossed

The pool is 18'x42' with 8' deep end and clorine isn't even showing up on test strips.

Had the new inground 18x42 for few weeks now. First party this afternoon, eight year old birthday party. Will be 10 kids swimming. Should I just dump a bottle of this in afterwards to get this back to normal? thank you

Test strips per our isntaller gave them to us. sounds like i need something better

Hi - new pentair in-ground pool. Our IntelliChlor was set at 30%. Couple nights ago we increased to 40% hoping our test strips showed some chloride, still looks nonexistant. Should we increase to 50%? Our installer told us to increase in increments of 10%. thank you

Brand new pool, 18' x 42'. We are going to build a privacy fence on one side of it for privacy from road. On the other two sides, we are not necessessarly required to put up fencing. Does anyone have any opinions on this? Is there a problem not having it (like deers, racoons)? The pool...
