This may seem obvious but if my handle to the vacuum is broken and open to air will it stop the suction? I tried to vacuum today with a broken handle and there was no suction. Then the pool pump stopped circulating after that too. I had to restart the pump for it to work again.

Thank you for the welcome. I have the 1.85 one. As far as RPMs it allows me to choose them. The RPMs range from 1000 to 3500. Factory setting has them all at 1750.
