Do i need to lower ta?

Hi TFP community, Do I really need to lower TA based on these results? No issues in the pool water. We had algae 2 weeks back so in went thru the SLAM process so that’s why u see the FC a bit high as it is still working it’s way down. Thanks for your feedback!

    Cloudy Water

Thank you both for your inputs. So with the current FC and CYA, the pool math app is saying new target is 20 FC. That seems very high no?

Yellow stains in deep end of pool. Any advice?

No I haven't. We had this problem last year as well but this year, it seems to have spread a bit more wider. Do you recommend trying a specific algaecide in that area?

Yellow stains in deep end of pool. Any advice?

Alright, the chlorine puck didn't remove the stain and I've used this before on other leaf stains and worked very quickly. It's been almost 5 hours with no change to the stain. I will try the vitamin C next.

    Hello from Warren, New Jersey

I'm a new pool owner and joined the group to hopefully manage my pool by myself this summer as we used the pool service when we moved in last summer to help us manage our salt water concrete pool. Approximately, 40,000 gallons and 24' x 48'.
