I did not get auto fill and do not have an over flow grate. All I have is this hole that has no plumbing attached. What is this and is it normal?

Okay so he said they only want the two main drains working. So for 10 days the variable speed pump is running and nothing goes through the skimmer basket. They want main drains to collect the debris from brushing. Tuesday they will come with skimmer basket and open that up

Hi! The PB started the pump on Tuesday and I don’t know when pool school will be. The skimmer isn’t open and the pump is a bit loud. Is it normal to have the pump going for a week without the skimmer open?
