So I got a new wireless thermometer and it finds its way into the skimmer. I can't just fix it to the wall somewhere due to the electric robot. Is there any negative to keeping it in the skimmer? Deep thoughts on a Saturday evening.

My initial cell lasted almost 5 years even with no having discovered TFP until about the 4 year mark. High PH/TA and very hard water with heavy acid baths to remove the massive amounts of scale every few months and it still lasted a long time comparatively.
Makes sense. There is water at start and there is always water moving during the process it just sounds different so figured I'd ask to make sure. Thanks.
