We are having our final pool party this Saturday. Suppose be 78 and sunny on Saturday. Will be starting the heater on Friday and swimming in a pleasant 85 degree pool :) Pool is 65 right now.

Heaters are definately worth it..My Husband heated up the pool enought to swim on Easter and hopefully we can swim till the end of September:http://www.troublefreepool.com/images/smilies/jason/smiley_swimming.gif

Hi mrramsey, We have a heater for the pool. Have not had to use the heater that much(we like 86 degrees for the water temp). We keep the solar cover on all the time till we swim.Pools stays at a consistent temp.Just got a new budget increase for this year for an additional $40 dollars a month...

First close for the season. Did everthing correct..balancing water..leaf net..secured the winter cover.secured the pillow.And Kabam..Unfortunate weather in Ohio yesterday.. Winter cover fell in the pool.Got home tonight and tried to recover. Looks like we wil be doing the SLAM process this...

Johnnysnok..Did you fill just with the water softener? Any other pre-filters?

We do have a water softener also. My husband has a fear of adding any metals or rusty water to the pool, even with pre-filters. Just don't want to mess up the water.

We have well water. We had the pool filled with water we had delivered. The pool was accidentley drained a little low after the last big rain. We need to add about 400 gallons to get the water at an appropriate level for the skimmer. I found a filter online that it suppose to fillter out the...

Here are my current test results FC 7 PH 7.6 TA 230 CH 230 CYA 40 My understanding is that TA should be around 70 to 90.Pool calculator does not suggest anything to reduce my high CH. Will the high CH cause any issues to my equipment.
