Follow up. I was able to find a gasket at Leslies that matched perfectly. When I opened the light, there was a greenish blob of a mix of algae and maybe silicone? Gross, sticky blob of a mess. I tried to scrape most of it out of the can as best I could. Soaked, wiped down the glass and the ring...

Thank you. Not sure if I have enough time to find the gasket, but I will get the PB to open it up the fixture and see if I can get a similar gasket (rubber right) locally while they are doing the tile tomorrow hopefully.
