Intex Sand Filter Pump Timer Settings

Yeah, that's what I thought. Pain in the Rear but I guess I just have to deal with it.

Intex Sand Filter Pump Timer Settings

I have an Intex Sand Filter Pump 26643EG SX1500 and while it works great there's something really annoying about the timer. If I want to carry out some maintenance on the plumbing etc. I need to turn off the pump. However, the timer resets when I turn it back on. So say I have it set to come on...

How to direct water to solar panel

Yeah, it's not likely to make a massive difference but I loved making it :)

How to direct water to solar panel

It's a chlorinator, one of my biggest issues in previous years has always been forgetting to chlorinate the pool so I wanted to automate it. The flow from the 1-1/2 PVC to the garden hose seems to regulate the flow more than enough. If anything I'd like a greater flow rate.

How to direct water to solar panel

So I have my setup complete, it's very unseasonably cold and overcast for us at the moment but that's about to change, so hopefully get some results soon. Even now the water at the heated outlet is a few degrees warmer than the pool water. The one thing I've noticed after all this is that my...

Valve support with zip tied PVC

I have seen a number of YouTube videos where people use some kind of PVC and zip tie mechanism to support Intex style valves but they don’t cover how they did it and I can’t work it out. Anyone have any instructions on how to do it?

I'm converting to standard Intex type 1.5" hoses.

Conversion of Intex Pool to 1.5" inlet/outlet

I recently took a leap of faith and decided to cut out the included 1.25" small hose Intex inlets and outlets and convert them to 1.5". I followed along with multiple YouTube videos and to be honest, I executed it as well as humanly possible. It all looks good the new inlets and outlets work...

How to direct water to solar panel

I have just hooked mine up and will report my findings in a few days. Lots of sun ahead so let's see what I can get out of it :)

Hayward CL200 In-line Automatic Chemical Feeder

I bought this for my above-ground pool in an attempt to automate the chlorination process and fight off algae from forgetting to chlorinate my pool. I found plenty of videos online about how to install it and I get that part. I've read the manual about operation but I was wondering if anyone had...

Anyone recommend a smart water monitoring app/tech?

Yeah, my sensible side is saying just buy a remote temperature sensor and do the testing manually :) Maybe I should take my own advice and not waste the money.

Anyone recommend a smart water monitoring app/tech?

I decided to look for a remote temperature sensor for the pool and my searching quickly turned into looking at a smart water monitoring, app-based solution :) Does anyone have any experience with Water Guru or IO Pool or any other system? Are these worth the money or are they just expensive...

    Any pictures of that?

Pool Plumbing Pad for Above Ground Pool

I'm concerned the PVC piping will need support in certain areas, maybe I'm wrong though. I could assemble and then add a pad later easily enough. The wood would let me support it where it needs to be.

How to direct water to solar panel

Yeah, you're right, I did the project mostly because I enjoyed it and wanted to see how it would work. I'm under no illusions that it's going to be a massive difference-maker, maybe in conjunction with my solar blanket, it will add a few degrees. We'll see, hoping to test it in April. We do get...

Pool Plumbing Pad for Above Ground Pool

I'm about to build some hard plumbing for my above-ground pool and would like to create an equipment pad for it all to sit on. The ground it will sit on is stamped concrete. I'm thinking of a piece of plywood stained with some wood stain and clamping it to some 2x4 cutoffs. Does that sound...

How to direct water to solar panel

It started to get expensive as I added up the materials and the items I didn't have that I needed to buy to complete it, plus mistakes/things I didn't need. Could build a new one for probably 60% of the cost. Tested it yesterday and got about 14 degrees of extra heat at a pretty decent flow...

Which 14x14/15x15 pool would you buy?

Damaging the pool for sure and generally moving around with the kids on it. The more I think about though, some over-engineering and it might be just fine.

Which 14x14/15x15 pool would you buy?

Very interesting, I would need to put those deck blocks on something that wouldn't scratch up my stamped concrete but it sounds possible.

Which 14x14/15x15 pool would you buy?

I could build a platform but I worry about it moving around if it's not fixed to anything. There is plenty of concrete below where it would be located.

How to direct water to solar panel

Yeah, I'm leaning towards option 2. I have a good way to return water to the pool and no issue having an extra hose going in.

How to direct water to solar panel

I have a small DIY solar panel that I'm going to use to add some extra heat to my pool, I understand all the economics of a DIY solar panel etc. that's not what I'm concerned about it's the mechanics of the flow I'm wondering about. I'm going to feed water from the pump return to the solar...

Which 14x14/15x15 pool would you buy?

I bought a 15ft round pool at 48" depth. It was the largest I could fit in the space. Now to decide on a way to enter. I'd love to build a deck but the pool is sitting on and surrounded by stamped concrete, there would be nothing to attach it to unless I drilled holes into the concrete which I...

    Hello From Northern CA

Glad to have found this forum, I've been running an above-ground pool for 2 years now, started with a 14x8 Bestway pool but now looking to upgrade and improve the whole setup this year. Swimming season here in inland Northern CA is probably mid-April to mid-October, with some solar...

Which 14x14/15x15 pool would you buy?

I've had 2 seasons with a 14'x8' above ground pool and I realize now that it was just too small. We bought a Bestway Power Steel above ground pool: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G341XQ9 It was/is decent, the first year there was nothing but trouble with the pump, second year, bought an Intex...
