Interesting.. I never thought about it. At 55%, my chlorine might be on the high side. I was thinking about adjusting down the % to maybe 50%. Perhaps I should also consider to lower the schedule run time. Thanks for the idea!

Hello, I have a variable pump with SWG output of 55%. The current setting I have daily for the pump is from 7AM to 11PM. Does this seem to be reasonable setting? Thanks!

Oopse.... I made the mistake by putting it in the skimmer sock instead of a "sock" :'(. Happy to say that thanks to the help from you and others here, the Chlorine seems to maintain really well with the 55% SWG output. Thank you so much!

Yep.. I was able to see the bottom and the PH is in the high 7. Interestingly, I just turned on the heater for the 1st time after the winter and the water coming out from the pump is cloudy.

Sorry, one more question, is the pool swimmable in the current condition? No green stuffs in the pool.

I finally received the TF-100 test kit and below are my test results. I don’t have the baking soda but do have the TA powder similar to below. Is it equivalent to baking soda? I have liquid chlorine and will need to buy liquid stabilizer. My SWG is on at 60% - what’s the order I should add...

I'm not sure actually, I just ordered TF-100 from TFTestKits with standard shipping option to NewYork state (Ogdensburg). Not sure how long does it take them to ship and arrive. I do have some cheap instant test strips lying around the house.

Will it harm the pool long term? I ordered the TF-100 test kit but don't expect to receive for some time.. will have trouble testing and opening the pool if I use another method to open.

The water seems clear - no green color yet. Lots of dirt at the bottom of the pool though. I live in Ontario so it was snowy over the winter. The pool company will come by in 2 days to open my pool.

This is my second year with the new pool (last year we only used it for half a month). I'm ordering the TF-100 from the US and planning to use it for this summer and early fall. Do I need the XL option for the SWG Salt pool or one TF-100 testkits (with ~70 tests for Chlorine + others)...
