Why does my water look cloudy when the cover is open and expose to the sun?

Haven’t figured it out yet. But doesn’t seem like it would be related to the ropes right? Since it’s relying on the drum to pull pack. What does the torque bracket/cramp on the opposite side of the motor do?

My rope broke at the end of the cover where the rope ties in at the webbing. Need to replace rope but unsure of the cover type. Can anyone tell by this poor picture.

We have a 17,500 gal in ground vinyl pool, sand filter. Looking to buy shock for the season. Any recommendation?

First year that I closed the pool myself. We are in Illinois and there a periods of below freezing. I didn’t drain below the skimmer as I read mixed reviews. Suggestions on what to do? Or am I good.

What about adding antifreeze in the pool lights? I know there’s water in there.

I had a new liner installed this season. Starting to lose water and falling below the recommend water level marked on my skimmmer. I would like to turn off the skimmer and see how low the water gets. I have a feeling it may be at the skimmer. Process of elimination will tell me after a few days...

Well I switched it to on and now it’s working. Million dollar question is why it went to off?

Does anyone know what the voltage should be if I’m checking the igniter output on the board itself?

I just checked the igniter and there’s continuity… so it seems the igniter isn’t the problem.

Would there we a reason why it would have switched to off on its own? As in some sort of safety feature?

I don’t know if this helps solve the problem. But I did notice the gas regulator was set to off. But it was like that last year and the heater worked fine. Could that have anything to do with it?

I didn’t see any change through the sight glass. I’m assuming I would have saw it glow there?

Getting an error IF on my Hayward h150. It trying to kick on three times then throws a error 150, I can hear the fan kick on. The gas line is turned on…I have the igniter out, how can I confirm it’s the igniter? I did not see any flames through the sight glass.
