A few repairs and this pool finally finished!

It's been 8 long months but our pool is finally finished. Only 3 minor details left. The autofill was not plumbed/installed correctly so a 1" extension nipple will need to be ordered to raise the float. There is a stain starting at one of the lights and expanding downward to the pool floor...

    Wet Edge Signature Matrix feel

My wetedge pool finish is only a week old. I was in the pool with my family for the first time yesterday we took a ball with us and i jumped up a little to catch the ball and my big toe was cut badly. Not enough to bleed, but the bottom of my toe looked like it had gills and I had to have my...

I realized shortly before you mentioned this that I had not updated my signature since my build started. My information has been updated.

    Skimmer equalizer

So let's say I'm on vacation for a week during a houston summer and the float on my paralevel malfunctions and the waterline drops below the skimmer. Air will begin to get sucked into the pump. I assume at that point the pump will sense this and shut down? Why would any builder plumb a pool...

    Skimmer equalizer

Thank you. I think i poked around enough to determine that it is indeed capped off. I do have a port installed right below the skimmer which is why I wasn't sure. My general contractor said they always plumb a suction line in the pool for a vacuum. Mine is capped off at the equipment pad. I...

    Skimmer equalizer

Our pool has been filled with water for less than a week. I'm still learning all the basics. The second line in my skimmer which I assume goes to the main drain is clogged with debris so I started poking into it last night. I could not clear it. I have read that this line is a backup in case...

    Submersible pump Recommendations

Looking for any recommendations for a submersible pump. My pool is just a gunite shell at this point and being from the Houston area, the pool never completely drains of water. The gunite, long plumbing, rough electrical, and tile and coping have been completed. The finished pool is supposed...

    Electrical

We are getting no automation, and timers for everything. We are fine with all the lights on at the same time.(in theory) No heater and yes eventually a robot cleaner. No water features at all. It's a plain budget friendly pool.

Honestly I will probably never need more than 70 amps so if that's the case then that will be fine for now. If I ever needed more then i could wire it for 100 amps and install the service disconnect switch.

I saw those and was wondering if they would be needed.

    Electrical

No automation and no heat pump. The only thing we are powering pool wise is a pentair variable pump a dedicated 20 amp receptacle and 3 led lights. The rest of the circuits are for the shed, deck and one possibly more trenched to the garage for future considerations.

That's a great solution. Thank you. I will hopefully be able convince the electrician to install the 100 amp breaker as you suggested.

Yes those look like they might fit the bill if the breaker in the main panel is not a sufficient disconnect. Thank you.

    Electrical

With advice and guidance from this forum, I upgraded my main electrical service from 125 to 200 amps. My pool electrical will be supplied by a 125 amp 12/24 indoor load cernter wired for 100 amps located in a 10×14 shed i had built next to the pool. I went this big partially because of future...
